A letter from our 2022 Panhellenic President:
Hi Wildcats!
Welcome to the Greek life community at the University of Arizona! On behalf of the 2022 Panhellenic Executive board, I am so excited to share information about our wonderful Panhellenic community on campus, which consists of 13 chapters, each made up of diverse, driven, and service-oriented women. Everyone is so excited to support this next generation of kind and motivated women as they go through Recruitment and in turn meet their future sisters and forever friends. The 13 chapters all share similar ideals and values, while remaining unique. This allows all of the chapters to give each member the tools, resources, and experiences they require to become the best version of themselves throughout their time in college. Seeing so many women flourish during their time spent at the University of Arizona is one of the most beautiful qualities about our Panhellenic community. In addition, the Panhellenic community stands for philanthropic efforts, strongs bonds with both our campus and Tucson community, and academic excellence.
When I first arrived at Uarizona, I was a little frightened. Greek Life was a brand new concept to me and I wasn’t sure it was something that I would find my place in. Furthermore, no one in my family had been in Greek life and only negative stereotypes swirled around in my head. However, knowing that you only grow outside of your comfort zone, I stepped into the unknown and signed up for Recruitment. That has turned out to be the best decision of my college career. Not only have I met my best friends, I’ve also begun to grow into who I am going to be. I have gained confidence and leadership skills to last a lifetime and found a network of women who support me in all of my efforts-both inside and outside of academics. I have learned that it is truly okay to be myself, while feeling a sense of belonging, to the Wildcat family, that I’ve been searching for my whole life. None of this would be possible had I not made the choice to join a Panhellenic chapter. As you step into this new part of your journey, whether you’re coming to college for the first time or you’ve been here and are looking for something more, I strongly encourage you to Go Greek!
