Pi Alpha Phi | The Pi Alpha Phi National Board of Directors has issued a moratorium on all Pi Alpha Phi activites across the nation. This includes, but is not limited to, social events, brotherhood events, new member activities, philanthropy events, and chapter meetings. No workarounds attempting to circumvent this moratorium, including, but not limited to underground processes, hosting events in the names of other individuals or entities, or purchasing private insurance, will be approved or tolerated. Sanctions will be issued up to expulsion and chapter revocation. This moratorium is indefinite. |

Interim Loss of Recognition Interim Loss of Recognition prohibits hosting, attending, participating, and sponsoring any organizational activities until the final disposition of this case. Club business meetings are the only allowed activities during this Interim Loss of Recognition. Pi Kappa Phi is prohibited from any contact with new members unless approved bythe Dean of Students Office. |
Organizations on Loss of Recognition Status
Unfortunately, some fraternities/sororities engage in behaviors inconsistent with the expectations and policies of the institution and/or national organization. While many of these organizations typically cease all activity, some may present themselves as fully functional organizations which continue to recruit members. The University of Arizona urges students and their family members to avoid groups currently functioning without university recognition. Those with concerns regarding activities of these organizations should contact the Dean of Students Office.
