Insurance Status & Requirements
Fraternities and Sororities are required to have current insurance filed with Fraternity & Sorority Programs to be in good standing with the institution. Review the ASUA requirements for all student organizations.
Each organization must annually file with Fraternity and Sorority Programs and The Office of Risk Management Services a certificate of insurance verifying Commercial General Liability insurance coverage with social host endorsement at the required amount, or request a written waiver.
Minimum chapter insurance policy limits are one million ($1,000,000) per occurrence and two million ($2,000,000) annual aggregate.
All insurance policies must be endorsed to name The State of Arizona, the Arizona Board of Regents, and the University of Arizona as additional insureds. Additional insured status for all entities must either be stated on the Certificate of Insurance, or a copy of the endorsement attached.
Organizations are responsible for providing new insurance information in a timely manner.
