Students involved in Greek Life have numerous opportunities to increase their leadership skills. Each Greek organization allows students to participate on committees, be influential in decision making for the chapter, and serve in various elected leadership positions.
Fraternity & Sorority Programs offers several leadership opportunities for students to extend their leadership capacity.
Opportunities for 1st Year Greek Members
- Hold a position within your new member class
- Serve on a chapter committee
- Attend Greek Speak and the Safe Spring Break Symposium
- Participate in the Fraternity & Sorority Programs diversity, inclusion, and equity book club
- Complete the Greek ally training
- Attend Great Greek Weekend
- Take the ANGLE class
Opportunities for 2nd Year Greek Members

- Run for a chapter chair/officer
- Attend the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values Conference
- Serve as your chapter’s Health Advocate

Opportunities for 3rd Year Greek Members
- Run for a position on a Governing Council
- Apply to be a Recruitment Counselor (IFC & Panhellenic)
- Join Order of Omega
- Apply to be a Great Greek Weekend facilitator
- Apply to be a Justice on the Greek Standards Board
- Apply to serve on the Philanthropy Advisory Board
- Take the ANGLE class
- Apply to attend UIFI: The Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute
