Director
- Provides strategic leadership for the department by overseeing all fraternity and sorority chapters, governing councils, boards, and affiliated students while guiding long-range planning, organizational strategy, and the implementation of departmental priorities and initiatives.
- Collaborates with university legal counsel, MarCom, and campus partners on matters impacting the University.
- Prepare and manage the department’s budget and financial activities
- Oversight of the standards of excellence implementation
- Establish and maintain relationships with Greek-affiliated trade associations and inter/national headquarters
- Oversee Housing policy and house board and director communication and collaboration
- Responsible for planning, implementing, and promoting alumni programs and engagement initiatives
- Department sponsorships and fund development
- Oversee fund development. Responsible for the Greek Senior Sendoff every spring; Senior Gift graduation cords
- In charge of executing the loss of recognition procedure
- Monitor chapter insurance expiration and request certificate of insurance from chapters upon or before expiration
- Manage all recognition/expansion projects
- Manage the department’s recruitment resources, including The Bond
- Responsible for chapter presidents’ onboarding
- Serve as a resource for the three governing councils
- Develop the Annual Report
- Foundation scholarships
- Produces the semester chapter grade reports
